I don't have nothing against you, but you have to choose one side, Somalinimo or Xabashinimo.
All I'm trying to say is don't mix up things. Like saying we should be United and stafs like that.

I've already said that I'm Somali, meaning that I'm loyal to Somalia before anyone else. But that doesn't mean I have to hate Ethiopia or Ethiopians. Half my family is Ethiopian and I'm not going to hate them or reject them just because I personally feel more connected to Somalia than Ethiopia.

No, I want all Horn nations to form a union in which they closely cooperate economically and militarily while still being separate countries. Kinda like the EU or the Nordic Council.

Unlike them, we're geopolitical enemies. It makes no sense to join hands with the same people trying to marginalize us

I think there's some miscommunication here. What exactly do you think i'm saying?

I really don't know. Just sounded off. I don't know that many half dhegocase with a Somali hooyo. Not saying they don't exist but the cultures they hail from are quite different. :siilaanyolaugh: There was never an incentive for Xalimos to marry them unless they had money. Tufaaxs didn't exist in those days.

That’s not really true. We don’t really marry Arabs except Yemenis, and its both Somali men and women that marry them. @Shams nagi has a Yemeni mother.

I'm mostly joking. But from my own experience, i see Somali female/Arab male much more often than the reverse.

I don’t know about other Arabs, but it’s not true for Yemenis at least. I met a few halfies in Somaliland and three had an Arab mother whilst two had an Arab father.

I've never seen or heard of a Somali-yemeni couple with a Somali woman and plenty of the reverse. It's probably the only coupling where the men are more represented than the women, and maybe cadaan too but to a much lesser extent.

They used to be enemies though. So much so that they forced the whole world to partake in their wars. The cycle of conflict and war ended in Europe after they realized that cooperation is the only way forward. Somalis and Ethiopians need to realize that too.

That's all and well, but the burden is on Ethiopia, and I don't see them willingly letting go of Somali lands. I doubt peace will come before another major conflict. We don't stand a chance as is anyway, but it's fortunately not farfetched to see Ethiopia implode from internal conflict. Perhaps it's an argument to be had from a position of strength.... otherwise we'll turn langaab overnight

@HornerUnionist

Ethiopians and Somalis are not the same race, look how this one Amhara/Oromo mixed outlier sticks out while all the other Somalis are solidly Somali:

1. all of the horn has same origins.
2. you have put all of Ethiopians into 1 group(that's very ignorant of you).
3.no habesha carries Semitic haplogroup(j1 doesn't =semitic)
4. majority of the horn+north africa=e31b

first of all "hate" is a strong word, when you "hate" someone, you chose the material world.

Theres plenty of half arabs a

True, a unionist horn is the perfect recipe for a major war in the horn that has never been seen in history.
More than 10 ethnic groups with different culture, and religion in one country.

There are 88 ethnic groups in Ethiopia and imagine Somalis owning 70& of the union country? :mjlol:

It won't benefit us but we'll have the most evil eye looking at us so forming a country with them is a NONO!

I think because most of them tend to be older not the recent cheap and clean phenomena it's probably Somalis who worked in yemen marrying from there although all mulads I've seen had a somali mother:yacadiim:

Sxb why do most women seems to be self haters and race traitors?
They are always looking after an ajinabi and bashing their own men

Habesha and Somalis have been fighting pointless wars for almost a millennium.

Instead of importing knowledge from the Europeans and Turks on how to kill each other we should have imported knowledge on how to develop our countries.

If we did, then the 20th century Africa colonization wouldn't have happened as all of Africa would've been our backyard.

f*ck it though. Since we're so deep in it lets continue on for another millennium.

@HornerUnionist so is your father Somali or not? That is what at least defines your Somalinimo, not the culture not who brought you up, but your lineage!!!

And to think of all the people to breed with your (mother) :trumpsmirk: choose to breed with Xabashi:susp:

It's 2018, not 1018! Patrilineality is backwards and sexist towards Xaalimos and should have been left behind in the middle ages. Why should a halfie with a Somali mother who was raised Somali be considered less Somali than a halfie with a Somali father who knows nothing about the culture??
