This sounds like one of those naive neckbeard fantasies on why the world can't just come together, put all their differences aside, and pour their resources into building the USS Starship Enterprise. 
In the distant future, it is realistic to see the region split off and part join Somaliland, while the rest join the independent nation of Puntland as part of a greater kablalax state. Expecting anything more is wishful thinking.

About as realistic as telling Americans to forget about race and all unite and come together. Among the most sacred things to Somalis is their lineage and kin. There is no taking that away. You can either be practical and work with the system to ensure peaceful segregation and everyone does their own thing, or keep living in a parallel dream-world where a Somalia is a possible future.
There will only be more federal states formed, more secession, more independent nations in the region. :siilaanyosmile:

If people would benefit greatly from joining or being a part of federalka somaaliya, they would. Money, services and goods trump qabyalaad.
