I think many of you have missed the point. We are not saying one can't rant but this is the reason why a lot of halimos hate Somali men. The "Somali men ain't shit" trend in twitter didn't fall from the sky, it started at home aka daddy issues. In order to cure a disease you have to know the root cause.

You savages are too much at times. What exactly is wrong in venting your emotions after going through something that traumatic? Reading her tweets, it looks like she lost her brother recently as well:

I understand being zealous in protecting the herd, but cyber bullying is not only horrible it's counterproductive. We should pray for our sisters, instead of excitedly discussing their misery just stroke our egos. Us Somali men can be so insecure at times - we've almost reached Indian levels of pathetic.

Disclaimer: you should still absolutely call some Xalimos out on their bullshit, but there's levels to this shit man.
That tweet sounds like a xfactor sob story

There's no way a man with five wives is father to his children. He's only a father, if that, to the ones he lives with at the time. In polygamy, that tends to happen in stretches of years until he marries again, which means the children remember something of a father being around for a stretch and then leaving them.

To even call them wives is a misnomer; they live the lifestyle of single mothers with no 'husband' to speak of and little to no financial help.

Polygamy is strictly a numbers game.

This!

But I wouldn't say polygamy is the problem but more so the way somali people choose to practice marriage. The fact that Somalis seem to accept that your father becomes your uncle when a mother and father divorce And that abuse is acceptable from your stepmother. Not to mention even without divorce somali fathers are shamed in helping (really being a father) out with their family ie: feeding/interacting in unacceptable manner, taking out their children alone.

Obviously lots of Somali fathers are very involved but the culture of neglect is disturbing.

Tbh it's the nature of polygamy. I'm not even anti-polyamory as a concept myself. You could say there's a similar phenomenon with divorce in general but in those cases it isn't presenting itself under the guise of a marriage.

It's obvious she wrote that when she was quite upset. I don't get why she shared that on such a public platform tho. Its best to keep your life private.

Your logic is flawed because in your world view we are no different then the Animals themselves from which we have evolved, hence in the animal kingdom it's the female that looks after the full life cycle of the young ones and the male's role is to just protect/hunt.

It's baffles me why you deviate from the Darwinian model of evolution through natural selection on matters of human behaviors/actions, it's the utmost hypocrisy and the arguments you raise are 'moralistic' in nature and therefore presumes a moral law giver which you ironically seek to disprove.

The proof of the most beneficent is found even in your rational reasoning and writing, hence the term "they have eyes but they cannot see", "they have ears but they cannot hear"
