to be fair, of all the names to qarxis yourself with...that's one of the better ones.

wouldn't even be able to pinpoint a nigga with that alone. :cosbyhmm:

True, but a few more details and you just know someones gonna know him.

Did you see that thread about the half Filipino chick whose father was identified in a second? Poor menace was so shook he restored to impersonating his wife again :icon lol:

I knew only one Liban from long ago. He had no sense of humour and got angry easily, but very smart and on point. I guess because he was always serious and didn't joke offensively, he didn't take offenses lightly when directed at him. This makes me think that people considered dabeecad xumayaal aren't really bad and are not quick to anger for the sake of it but like to see certain ways for others/people to conduct themselves. In other words, people who get angry may be strict in personality and once you discover that sweet spot in their personality you can get along fine. Liban spoke perfect English when I didn't and he liked to hang out with me. I was the quite type who lent ears more and listened to people. He felt comfortable that way.

I wish him well wherever he is today and may Allah have mercy on him if he died.

Hot and cold
:drakelaugh:I almost answered. It's a good Islamic name. One of the slightly more common ones.. so I shouldn't be saying that. It's just 'safe' name if you know what I mean. I want that uniqueness and ambiguity.

Waan ku fahmay. Nothing unique about liibaan. Stick to mohamed

lol I wish my name was Liban, it's a really nice name... and I kinda dislike mine

Can you think of anything positive about it?

PS: I saw your other post previous to this, never mind blackie. It is all good. I was about to recommend if you answered negatively that you visit the closest bridge and jump off.

You're getting closer lol. After Muhammad/Mohammed and it's variations I'm probably 4th or 5th in line. Ironically, I've never met a Somali guy with my name, which is weird because it's really popular. I've met loads of non-Somali Muslims with my name. There are loads on Somalis twitter and some Somali politics, but I've never met a single one irl.

XAMDI, I think I nailed it. This name is both male and female. I can see the uneasiness about it though there is nothing wrong with it. LOL
