That's a name
Then again I've never met anyone with my name either.
You don't know a single Deeqa/Deeqo/Decca?

Decca that YT girl? That's the same name? You don't know a single Deeqa/Deeqo/Decca?![]()
On which count. Neither are common from what ive seen. I haven't met anyone with my name.Your joking!
Decca that YT girl? That's the same name?
I always thought that was a weird name, but I've never heard of/met one, no.
How are Decca and Deeqa the same thing. Do you pronounce it "deck-a" like in the YT videos? It doesn't sound Somali.Deqa's are annoying but their really hiding insecurities and are sweet deep down inside. If you meet a Deqa, keep that in mind.

Yes. It's a very common name and there seems to be some sort of contest going for the worst way to spell it. I also concur with the consensus. Very annoying people
I'm 99% sure it alludes to the same name since Westerners pronounce with with a 'k'. I've seen it spelt both Deka and Deca. It's pronounce with the Somali 'q' though. as in qori, qali, qaad etc.
Never heard of that either. Is that Somali or Arabi? What do you guys think of people with the name Qansax
They seem like chill people![]()

I'm not on T. If Decca is supposed to be the same thing, then I guess I have heard of it before through the YTer, but nowhere else. It's quintessentially Somali lol. Probably top 3 Somali female names (excluding Islamic names ofc). I'm genuinely surprised you've never even heard of it. You're bound to run into a few just by browsing Somali twitter even

I know a Farah that's under 18.Specifically names of Somali origin I would say Guled and Liban for sure. Then Sharmaarke, Robleh or Warsame. I've excluded Faarax cause I've literally never met or heard of a Faarax under 30.
I know a Farah that's under 18.
I know a Sharmaake, Warsame, Samatar, Farah, Warfa, but never met a Liban or Guled lol. Most ppl definitely have Arabian names. What are the so-called top 3 quintessential Somali girl names (besides Deqa apparently)?
2/3 ain't bad, Meatloaf. I know a Hodan and Naima.Hodan, Nimco and Deeqa. Maybe Ayaan (but i'm not sure if it's of Somali origin)
2/3 ain't bad, Meatloaf. I know a Hodan and Naima.
I also know an Ayan, and I think that's actually the Somali one, bc Naima (Arabic) isnt.
That's definitely Arabic, with a Somali spelling. Have you heard of the phrase Nim'atuallah (Blessing from Allah)? You could be right. But maybe it's from Nimco as in blessing?
