No he's talking on experience but his experience is that he was in haram settings where he saw other somalis women in haram settings. Generally those that push this rhetoric on either side are people who where in the mud themselves and he basically admitted it. Its a consequnce of the ignorance of your immediate forefathers to select an arbitary quality such as the random selection of the name of their 7th grandfather to bias, attack and discriminiate against others that didnt have the name (which they might as well have been picking shoe size as the arbitary quality) leading to most people having to give up their 40 acres to live in worse then indebtured servitude to others who forefathers didnt pick such arbitary qualities as their motivation for life. Hence thereforth their offspring have been lamented to not being able to afford any property, any wealth, a home, any independence and lastly any children or wife and husband. Now if they didnt pick such a silly arbitary quality that even cavemen you see on national geographic would consider a dumb decision making tool each one of you would today have inherited free land, a free home, no eviction tenancies, a healthy immigrant underclass to do your laundry, drive you and clean your roads, fast track to the best jobs and management, and marriage rates of 99%.

Honestly it’s both Somali men and women in that age range. Everybody’s single. And diaspora in particular cause the fobs be getting married.
Partly it’s the parents fault bc they’re so strict on their kids must marry a Somali meanwhile their children grew up in the west and hardly come across Somalis in their daily life to begin with.
Like if I was a parent I would want my kid to get married to a good Muslim person regardless of ethnicity than have them reach 35 and single with no prospects while all their peers are married with children

A 35 yr old man has plenty of options if he is well established.It's the 35 year old woman that is seen as expired.Women need to get married earlier because of their biological clock and because men generally prefer women younger than them and a woman's potential fertility is important for marriage. Western women seem to think they can live their lives like men and that there will be no consequences, we have different timelines....

Yes there’s biological differences but men also shouldn’t wait too long to get married. It’s not ideal to be having kids when you have no more energy to be a present and active father
Also about the “western women want to act like men” honestly I can’t say that applies to Muslim women. I remember being in uni and the Muslim girls I knew would talk about wanting to get married soon. Most of us want to marry young because we’re not allowed to have long term dating relationships like gaalo
Definitely the most retarded comment so far. We have issues with men providing for one wife and needing their wife to chip in financially. The average professional Farax only gets 40k a year. Those men can’t even adequately provide 100% for one wife. So you think women should marry men and not be looked after? Halal girlfriend boyfriend situation in which they provide for themselves and children and share a man? Is that your solution?

By act like men he means pursuing careers and not prioritising the seeking of relationships so both men and women take there time. Men do it to get there money up so they cam get married women do it for independence so they won't have to rely on a man.

Guys want a traditional wife that does most of the cooking and cleaning. But the biggest elephant in the room, is that many can’t afford that lifestyle. The average UK professional earns 45k and that’s after a number of years of experiences and it’s around 40k after tax. The cost of living is also rising. So logically speaking, how can these guys achieve that, without their wives at least chipping in a bit, and them helping their wives?
Women on the other hand want more of an equalitarian marriage in which the husband helps out with the house and kids. Those women also work and have been raised to be educated and take their jobs seriously. Many men see this as being inspired by feminism, yet those men don’t have issues with their wives paying for themselves, kids ect as it saves them money.
I really do think the Somali and Muslim community are living in LaLa land, especially the men. Call be bias, but if you’re well aware of the economic situation, you’d know that’s probably the biggest issue. But most of these kids, especially the little boys and girls who have a lot to say have never paid house rent in their lives and have no clue how much rent is in their city. Rent in big cities takes up like 70% of peoples pay check!

Better than epidemic of Single Somali females, if Some Males are losers and not willing to get married, up to others to pick up the slack and get multiple wives and not waste reproductive ability of these females
