Naa most don't care about qabil but some people's families do and we all know how weird inter qabil politics can be. Some people's families would be against marrying from certain qabils for xyz reasons. So they ask to get the dealbreaker qabils out of the way

I always look for distant Qabiils whom we don't know each other, I don't want to have a hostile environment in my living space when one of my Qabiil relatives kills a relative of the Mrs. By the way I have witnessed one too many times.
