Yeah we are flawed to an extent unfortunately because we fight amongst ourselves (tribalism).

If we could not keep a tiny stretch of land, ardu Somali, do you think we could manage an entire continent?

Tribalism is the default Human Setting.
As you can see in all societies, when life starts to become increasingly hard and recourses are scarce people fall back on their small group to have a sense of security. The reason many people in Somalia hold loyalties towards their clan rather than the state is because the government is weak and cannot help them in any way.
To understand why people in Somalia are soo tribalisitic you have to ask yourself this question.

If you are attacked in Somalia, be it robbery, murder of relatives or theft. Who will help you? The weak non-existent government of Somalia, or your tight clan that will back you up whatever the case?

To destroy Tribalism in Somalia, you must have a strong government that can enforce the rule of law and make people feel safe and well fed so that they are loyal to the state rather than their clan.
