Finally found land area data for Somalia's districts from which I managed to calculate population density. No one has done this before for the districts. Someone has made a density map at the regional level but they were using wrong land area figures so it was all wrong.

No reliable population counts have been done. The closest thing we have are Afweyne era figures that were suppressed and colonial era clan numbers. More cilmi-baadhis needed to counter unpleasant facts posted by @Passenger and @TabK

They're using UNFPA 2014 estimation data has been exposed on Somalispot as fake and unreliable by myself. Lower Shabelle and Waqoyi Galbeed and Togdheer created thousands of ghost villages which cannot be verified with satellites.

I did a thread on it a while ago, most landers and hag shut the f*ck up when I showed villages listed with unfpa was nothing but dirt and stones on satellites, all the lies was so they can get more aid money.

Awdal and SSC are heavily populated and growing the fastest in Waqooyi. Harti+Samaroon are around 60-70% population of waqooyi.

Thank you OP , we exposed the langaabs like @BigBreak hiding behind hargeisa kkkk
60/70% :mjlol: If thats the case why have they not overpowered a clan that is only 30%?

The effort for who?
It is total insanity to extrapolate data from research that people have debunked/undermined over the years...
@Thegoodshepherd you should write an article and share it to those English Somali sites...

Horta samroon share kin with dirs only not al daroodiya also Awdal is inhabitanted by Ciise in the west stretching from coastal city Saylec to ethiopia border to the south and sub sub sub clan of jabril Abokor SM lives in the east of Awdal bordering Gabiley.

Not actually.

Ciise inhabit Awdal but their population consists only of pastoralists who settle only seasonally. They mainly inhabit one district (Zeila) which is itself sparsely populated. In terms of sheer numbers, out of the 13 seats for the SL parliament allocated to Awdal, they couldn't produce 1. Every single parliament seat was a token seat for representation which is why the Ciise have even that 1 seat. 12/13 seats are Gadabursi. And it's been the same result since the first elections were ever held in SL.

The new mayor of Zeila is Ciise and the deputy mayor is Gadabursi and the new mayor of Xariirad is Gadabursi.

The Isaaq are non existent in Awdal. In the recent elections, they couldn't produce one xildhibaan in any of the 4 districts of Awdal. They literally don't exist. The eastern most district is Baki which included many of the towns formerly part of the Gabiley district during the Somalia era. And all the xildhibaans were all Gadabursi. Not one Isaaq anywhere in Awdal.

In the 4 districts of Awdal (Borama, Baki, Lughaya and Zeila), in golaha barlamaanka, the Gadabursi produced 92.3% of the parliament seats allocated to Awdal with one token seat given to Ciise.

Awdal is pretty much 99% Gadabursi.

@0117 There were no land area data available for Somalia’s regions and districts until OCHA released the data last year.

This is basically a correction of this map which uses wrong land area figures to calculate regional population density.

The Somali government, being fairly retarded, does not know how big each of the 18 states are. For example, according to all Somali government data Mudug is 70,000 sq km and Awdal is 21,000. When you use the coordinates given by the presidential decrees that created these states, you come to the conclusion that Mudug is actually supposed to be 59,000 sq km and Awdal is 16,000 sq km.

All calculations of population density over the past 40 years were based on the incorrect government supplied area figures rather than actual area figures given by the coordinates in the presidential decrees that created the 18 states and their districts.

You are obviously a retard so I have to give you free lessons.
