If Ethiopia collapses we are good. We have over 150,000 fully armed Liyu police. The Eastern command of the Ethiopian army with heavy artillery based in Diri Dhabe is all Somali under an Ogaden general (12k troops). We have enough manpower and weapons to defend ourselves and our land if Ethiopia collapses. All of Somalia including Somaliland doesn’t have more than 40k troops and no heavy weaponry. If anything Jubaland with over 20k troops (i.e. us) many with Liyu training (all the commanders are ex-Liyu) has the best fighting force in Somalia. We MJ are good we have a system and a history. Somaliweyne was an Ogaden vision anyway that has done more harm than good for Darod. Darod was by far the premier group in east Africa before they Sayid.

Cagjar right people want development and peace. Let every region figure out what’s best for their people . Fgs should provide alternatives most these regions want investment only way to change their mind is better offer . Ethiopia is facing conflict all over it’s said territory. It can’t pay its debt and it’s diplomatically isolated. All of this is coupled with a rising Eritrea and Somalia who are bound to challenge it.

The bolded part is the essence of his message. It’s more of a threat to anyone in DDS who are working for ‘external interests’, i.e. Somalia. In other words, regardless of how you shacab feel about the fiasco created by Addis, you aren’t permitted to take any action. Or use our territory for such purposes. Even if it may involve your clansmen next door in Somalia.

lol . I agree with you but what can we do. Ethiopia been pulling strings behind scenes for long time and puppet master finally stepping out from behind curtain. It’s like we more embarrassed about optics than actually reality which is we have thousands of troops from Ethiopia all over south.
