Dahabshill oil and hass petroleum sign a deal

How is it stupid, name another Somali company worth billions or another Somali company constructing (though currently on hold) the largest tower in Africa, name another Somali company that boasts as many employees as Hass, name another Somali company that operates in 12 or so countries. Name another Somali company that has a real estate branch, a fisheries branch, a petroleum branch and a new airplane cargo/commercial airline branch.

Of course… I will wait :mjswag: :win:

Hass is a small business compared to multinational behemoths like Dahabshiil, Hormoud, Deero, Ominco..etc. Here is a list of the eight largest Somali owned multinational businesses:

As I said, it was too stupid a comment to be worth responding to.

Don’t be disingenuous, the 70% stake is for Hass operations in the somaliland region of Somalia, not the rest of Somalia. They also have operations with other states but not a deal like this if that makes sense :nvjpqts:

Listen to what the CEO of Hass is saying in the video instead of making things up here, this is a merger of two companies: Dahabshiil Oil and Hass Petroleum, not a subsidiary of the latter as you claim.

The aim is to create a large outfit capable of entering and competing within the Ethiopian market, not just Somaliland and Somalia.

Are any of these companies TNC’s, Hass operates in almost all of east Africa and beyond in the Middle East, come back to me when Dahabshill coughs up a quarter of a billion dollars to make the tallest building in Africa then I’ll consider it a larger company than the likes of Hass. No other Somali company can compare to it. :westbrookswag:

You keep making things up with zero sources. I showed you a list of the largest Somali multinational businesses, and this company is not on the list.

I don’t think Hass would make the list for the top 30 companies even, the fact that they gave up 70% to Dahabshiil shows they know their place too.

Come back when you can provide actual sources backing up the garbage you’re spewing

Dahabshiil is rich as fuq, and the thing is, most of the companies is with 100% ownership.
A couple of months ago he open up an IPO on Somtel, we bought a lot of shares like tens of thousands of dollars...

Why would Hass do this though? Arent they the heavy weights when it comes to oil? Every time i been to somalia or heard of the hawiyes owning Hass they talk highly of them, why give 70% ownership away? Is it because the other nigga owns a money transfer place that holds more value than their valuables. If so thats a stupid stupid move.

Lol Hass can't buy the financial jaggernut Dahabshiil with a revenue over $1 billion.

Last time I checked the richest Somali businessman is Cabdarshid Ducaale and the Ducaale family being richest Somali family let's not twist facts with stupid FKD Qabayaled and the deal that was signed is good for all Somalis.

This deal has actually been a good deal for Hass Oil. Dahabshiil has to buy the oil from Hass Oil, and then split the revenue in SL with Hass Oil 70-30. Hass Oil will profit twice.

We were too quick to come to conclusions. There’s zero chance in hell that Dahabshiil has access to grude oil market without oil refinery companies like Hass Oil.
