Lol you are triggered and very sensitive. Stop making things up. I didn't say he didn't exist. Just that with him being a AS terrorist and your report being from 5 years ago, it's possible/probable he's dead. Active terrorists are not known to have a long life expectancy. I would be happy if he was killed, as I am when any AS terrorist is killed.

The reason why Puntland has a serious terrorism problem is a Puntland people problem Without Local support for AS, it does not survive.

You are definitely triggered. Within 4 posts of this news being posted, you were already getting your panties in a twist about how Somaliland is responsible for this, before anyone had even time to process the news story.
The terrorists get support from small section of PL population such as in Galgala. You make it sound as if all of PL is like south Somalia Geez.

Al-Shabaab's first Emir Arale was HY, Isaaq.
Al-Shabaab's second Emir and the most prolific Godane was HA, Isaaq.
Al-Shabaab's current Emir of the NE Omar Adan is HJ, Isaaq.
" The United Nations Security Council Report indicated that Puntland federal state of Somalia remains the main entry point of illicit arms into Somalia. As mentioned in the report "Puntland remains the primary entry point for illicit arms into Somalia; the arms are typically shipped using small-scale speedboats from Yemen" [228] These arms are usually procured in Yemen then brought in through various ports in Puntland state such as Bosaso and Qandala. The two terrorist groups, ISIL and Al Shabaab have contested over control in taxation and extortion of Puntland businesses."

There wouldn't be a need for weapons if there wasn't a Shabaab to begin with, lead and organized by Isaaq who left Somaliland to blow up other regions.

Yeah, I corrected the didn't exist part. But the rest stands. Your argument that they wouldn't be there without support is bullshit since they are located in mountains with no permanent populace.

They are there cause the terrain saves them from being destroyed. I merely posted my response for everyone to see since OP is Isaaq and likes to conduct these sensational threads against Puntland.

:kanyeshrug:
You're type of stupid who blames whole set of community because tiny minority of bad people and btw during the chaos in the south there was islamist jihadi group called al itixadia were many young somalis who were radicalized joined including Axmed Madoobe the current JL presdient

Fear Allah SL govt doesn't send or fund al shabab when there's reports of somalian politicians doing so where they smuggle weapon to the group and also hire them to kill their opponents

Al Ittihad was also led by an Isaaq called Sheikh Ali Warsame.

Not at all. A small group of people is all it takes for them to be supported and kept supplied and informed.

I was in no way suggesting Puntland as a whole was supporting them.

The leaders were Sheikh Hassan Dahir Aweys HG
Hassan Abdullah Hersi al-Turki OG
Aden Hashi Farah Ayro HG

" By 1994, al-Itihaad had established itself in the Somali Region of Ethiopia. According to a report by the Emergency Unit for Ethiopia of the UNDP, the Al-Ittihad were most active in the area between Kebri Dahar, Danan, Kelafo and Degehabur. Some elements were reported to be active near Danot, Nusdariiq and 'Adow. Although they had support amongst the Ogaden, at the time their activities were not tolerated by the Isaaq and Dhulbahante clans.[6] "

To this guy the fact that the Isaaq as a people and a community have rejected terrorism, as demonstrated in your quote as well as in the way we have expelled AS from our lands for nearly 20 years, is irrelevant.
He wants to blame his problems on Isaaqs so badly, he will find any excuse. As is always the case, his problems are firmly in his own house and mind.

Upon AIAI’s formation, Sheikh Ali Warsame—the leader of Wahdat Al Shabaab Al Islam—assumed control of the new group. AIAI’s initial goal was to establish an Islamic state, originally through peaceful means, but in the late 1980s, the group began to focus on armed resistance against Somalia’s dictator, Siad Barre.

We rejected them to ever operate in our territories

These aren't excuses but facts and correlation, even Ittihad had an Isaaq leader. If @Gantaal97 knew that he wouldn't have brought it up. The audacity you khat addicts have to talk about instability when you have seemingly fueled it for 3 decades.

Lol, that guy was the leader in 80's when they were fighting Afweyne. Dahir Aweys took over in 1991, after which it became a terrorist organisation.

As I said, any excuse to blame Isaaq for his problems.

They left to blow up other regions where there tribe doesn't reside. If they can hide in Galgala, they can hide in Sheikh.
from your source
" AIAI allied with the Ogaden National Liberation Front (ONLF), a separatist group comprised of ethnic Somalis living in Ethiopia’s Ogaden region; the two organizations frequently collaborated in attacking Ethiopian targets, especially Ethiopian soldiers, with the goal of controlling Ogaden. AIAI successfully staged attacks throughout Ethiopia, including in the capital of Addis Ababa, although the group’s low capacity constrained its ability to conduct highly destructive or violent attacks on Ethiopian targets. On August 9, 1996, after AIAI relocated its headquarters to a region of Somalia bordering Ethiopia, Ethiopian forces began an extensive military campaign against the group "

Everything has its roots and at the root of terrorism in Somalia, there's always one of you.

They did hide there, or tried to. You are so ignorant and unaware of reality it honestly boggles the mind.
AS killed two English teachers in Sheikh in the early 2000s. This was a major event in Somaliland and which spurred all of Somaliland to act against AS. the Somaliland government and people organised to rid the country of AS presence. Inspection points along roads, Internal intelligence agencies, community activitism programs and many other actions were taken and instituted by the Somaliland government and its the people. That is how we rid our country of AS.

Instead of calaacaling about the Isaaq boogeyman, do what the Somaliland government and people did - deal with your own house because that is where the terrorism problem is found.

AIAI was not a terrorist organisation at its foundation. Like the SNM and the USC they were fighting to rid the country of your uncle Afweyne. Your own source that you cited says so :mjlol:

Shabaab was founded in 2006, the teachers were killed in 2003. You didn't clean shit up, your terrorists left to blow up shit up elsewhere.
