men in general don’t like to talk about how they’re feeling or their mental health. They just bottle it up.

We're not bothered by internet trolls; it doesn't affect our real lives unless it's a personal experience. Interestingly, @pinkyandthebrain has her own encounter, and strangely, she cares deeply about and values the opinions of non-Somalis. She even once inquired if these guys were attractive, as if their opinion would intensify her pain. I bet if that non-Somali crush or friend of hers had praised Somali women instead of criticizing them, she would have continued her admiration for non-Somali individuals and maintained her attraction to mixed-race guys, displaying a typical self-hating attitude. It's only now that she's realizing, with the vilification and trolling of Somali men over the past decades, that the opposite gender isn't an entirely separate category.

UK is a terrible place man. I even remember a somali girl saying she was minding her business till these cadaan/maadow guys said "move you somalian" the hate was so vitriol its sickening. This is because in the uk, the somalis here are mostly from a particular clan(i.e the one that hates other somalis...you know the one), they are the ones that mock and ridicule us, our language and culture infront of ajanabis.
