There is no internal conflict those that were pro Cagjar were purged from ONLF.

That is good news the bad news is ONLF seemed to have been reduced to Madasha xizbiyada like the one led by Sh shariff.

TPLF already gave a sneak preview of guerilla warfare by attacking an Amhara village. They killed 215 in one ambush. This is just first gear, imagine if they escalate it to 5th gear.

I find it odd that Afwerki wants to dominate the Horn. He has no levers to sustain long-term power projection over Ethiopia unless his plan is to keep major ethnic groups fighting one another in perpetuity. In that case, Afwerki wouldn't want the TPLF to lose the war. However it doesn't seem like that at the moment.
