How in the world did you come to that conclusion from a simple response? As a married woman I give 100% to my husband. I don't believe in 50/50. You give your spouse all you have and they should do the same. Do I listen to my husband yes i do, do I go against what he says no I dont , do i obey him if that's even the correct word, yes. Am i disrespectful to him NEVER.
If my husband expresses something is bothering him or makes him uncomfortable or he doesn't like something I said or did then I'm obviously going to stop what it is I'm doing thats making him feel that way. Does he control me, no, do I nag and yell and tell him this, that, and the other about little things No.

Are you like some young teenage guy or you just havent found the one yet? He doesnt have to put me in my place, I know where I stand, I know my role, I know what I need to do as a wife in all aspects. Whether it's in the house, outside the house and everywhere in between.

I am not teenager, I just haven't found the one. I've walked out from several serious marriage options.
How would you react if he scolded and berated you?
He wouldnt do that. If he did I know he wouldn't do it outside the house, but lets say HE DID I'd be upset and we'd have a serious conversation to see why he would even think it's okay to go that low and do that. In my marriage, I told him from the start I'm not one to be quiet if something bothers me. If I'm upset, bothered, angry or sad, I rather come to him and discuss the issue. You might not believe me but I've done it before and it's worked. Were adults, I dont think it's fair for me to have him play the guessing game and try to figure out why I'm quiet or acting differently than usual. By the way your asking good questions.
