Arsenal 25/26

We have the squad, literally a brand new front 3, imagine when we have Saka and Harvertz back, Trossard is a solid backup option, but we can finally utilise Martinelli's number 1 skill, tracking back, killing games when we are winning.
:russ:

Liverpool luck will run out, Diaz and Nunez were barely injuried and could run like dogs all day, the loss of Trent who used to feed Salah will drain them, they are already struggling to break low block teams, they are light in midfield and the back.

Arsenal’s new front three of Gyökeres, Eze, and Madueke look like they’ve been built in a lab to annoy defenders. Each brings something different, but together they create the kind of chaos that makes centre-backs start pointing fingers at each other before half-time.

Gyökeres is the battering ram with brains. He pins defenders like a fridge glued to the penalty spot, then suddenly spins off to chase a through ball. When he drops deep, centre-backs follow him like lost puppies, leaving oceans of space for Eze or Madueke to run into.

Eze is the drifter. He’ll pop up on the wing, the half-space, or even deeper just to keep opponents guessing. Give him a pocket of space and he’ll glide into it, forcing defenders to shuffle nervously like they’re trying not to step on broken glass. Add an overlapping full-back to the mix, and suddenly the poor full-back doesn’t know whether to track Eze inside or brace for the overlap outside.

Madueke is the spark plug. He loves cutting inside onto his left foot, and every time he does it, full-backs get that “here we go again” look. When two defenders collapse on him, it just leaves Arsenal’s right-back sprinting into acres of space, or Gyökeres lurking in the box ready for the cutback. If you leave Madueke 1v1, though, he’ll happily take you on and shoot before you can even blink.

The beauty is in their movement together. Gyökeres pulls defenders out of shape, Eze glides into the gaps like it’s a dance routine, and Madueke stretches the pitch with direct dribbles. Overlaps, underlaps, cutbacks – it’s all there. By the time Ødegaard joins in, defenders are spinning around so much they’d be better off buying match tickets instead of trying to mark anyone.

Arteta might’ve dragged Arsenal off the homeless streets, but it’s Bertha who’s finally dropped off the furniture to finish the house. For years, Arsenal have been building the foundations – the sturdy walls of a defensive structure, the roof of a consistent midfield, the electrics of Odegaard’s creativity – but the place still felt a bit empty, like a show home with no sofa to sit on. Enter Bertha, with a delivery van full of finishing touches: Gyökeres up front as the dining table everyone gathers around, Eze as the statement rug that ties the room together, and Madueke as the fancy lamp that might be unpredictable but makes the whole place shine brighter. Now, instead of squatting in the cold with potential, Arsenal finally look like they’ve moved into a proper home ready to host a title party.

No posts about the game yesterday? I guess people have gotten bored of watching Artetas stale football.

Had high hopes for the season, but after seeing the performances against Pool and City at home smh. We need a manager who can take this great squad, build a great attack and push it the next level…Titles!

He's a coward we need someone who isn't scared to play attacking football. It pissed me off to see him celebrate Martinelli's goal. Why is he celebrating equalizing against a weak man city team? I'd rather get Iraola or Fabregas.

Na we need someone with a proven track record of winning.

Luis Enrique hopefully gets tired of the French league and becomes our next manager.

Iraola is a good option, he’s on the same points as us with harder fixtures after selling half his team. Definitely would be a huge improvement on Arteta. We should get Semenyo as well.

Slot was a nobody before coming to the league and won in his first season.

No to Fabregas

We don’t need any more chequebook project managers who are ex players(especially a snake like fabregas)

You ungrateful snakes, this is the man that took us from the bottom and rebuilt the club as a young manager. People who are ungrateful about Arteta need a reality check. When he took over, Arsenal were a joke, a mid-table, no identity, toxic culture, players coasting with zero accountability.

As a rookie manager, he didn’t just steady the ship, he ripped out the rot and rebuilt the foundations. He brought standards back, gave us belief, and turned us into a team that actually fights for titles again. That’s not luck, that’s vision, discipline, and courage. Anyone still moaning either has a short memory or doesn’t understand how far we’ve come under him.

He has issues and needs to bring back the fluidity of 2022/23.

He's never going back to 2022/23 style of play I don't know why people still think he will. It's simple, if he's going to play for set pieces and serve up a trash style of play while not winning anything he simply needs to go. In the NBA the warriors fired their coach that built the foundation for their style of play and with their new coach they ended up being one of the biggest dynasties the league has seen. Sometimes a coach can only take you so far.

1 billion pounds invested in the team since he took over and he gets 14 million pounds salary.

The team has outgrown him. This is last year to prove himself otherwise he must be sacked. Either he wins a trophy or fucks off. His tactics are predictable and when the occasion arrives, he fumbles. I have personally never liked him for how he treated Nicolas Pepe who won the Fa Cup for him.

The lineup against City solidifies his character. He is not a winner and thats a type of manager Arsenal needs. Arteta does not have the minerals for the job.
