They should leave and transfer all capacity to SNA. We are the ones fighting shabab while they hide in bunkers. Imagine if all the resources were diverted to SNA. They don't want to leave because its nice fat paycheck doing nothing.

You are giving to much credit to the government and SNA, you do know that AMISOM is positioned in impotent areas to hold back an Al-shabab attack so they don't roll over Xamar.


And Al-shabab control larger land areas then the government and collect more tax than the government - they even collect tax in Xamar where the government is supposed be in control.

The ting is, if your are a business person in Xamar, with a decent business, Al-shabab will call you, and when they call you better fucking answer the phone or else...

And you have to pay protection-money aka "tax" to them.

We would all wish that was not the case, but that is just the way things are, just today they attacked and killed some SNA and took their weapons in Dayniile.

I was fully against the amisom staying after 2021, but watching what's happening in Afghanistan right now, they'll have to do. I still want Kenya and Ethiopia out though.

You're clearly very out of touch with reality.

AMISOM is the only thing keeping your government alive. They would all blown to smithereens if it weren't for AMISOM.

You should be on your knees daily praying that AMISOM stays in Somalia for the foreseeable future.

The SNA has been growing drastically these past few years and they have been improving the security of Somalia. I find it suspicious that the AU wants them to stay until 2026 :notsureif:

I know somalis on sspot refuse to give amisom their credit but they have done allot of good things and took over allot of cities from all shabab. Lets be honnest the only reason somalis dislike amisom is because they are jåreers. Because those same somalis that say amisom has to leave are the same ones that have no problem with usa-italy-uk staying there :mjdontkno:
