Couldn't Deni offer a compensation for the wages and equipment he's going to confiscate from Diyano? Was there a valid reason to remove incompetent commander of PSF? This looks like a power move gone wrong.


In hindsight I doubt Deni would take this move had he knew it would lead to full fledge battle inside the city. The civilan casualties, damage to properties, disrupt of livelihood is not worth it. Not to mention the effect it will have on Puntland forces moral and cohesion as a unified force.

what a lot of reer puntland on this site don't understand is how unpopular Deni is in puntland itself, how much he is hated by reer jubbaland, specially how he attacked Gedo students to score a political points against Farmaajo.
