Unless you meet someone in your teens while you're both virgins and then get marry, you'll never truly be someone's first choice.

It's a bitter pill to swallow but I thought everyone over a certain age understood this. Evidently not lol

My friend's about to do his nikkah and we were discussing the subject, he proceeded to start autistically screeching like some socially inept 15yr old.

If you've been in previous relationships, 9/10 the person you end up marrying isn't exactly your first choice, they're just the right choice for you at that particular time.
That concept's never bothered me, but people in relationships seem to freak the f*ck out if you suggest that's the case.

Personally, I think its a concept men struggle with the most. I'm not talking about virginity as we are Muslim alhamdulliah, so both parties should be virgins, unless its their 2nd marriage.

But some guys really live in LaLa land, and have issues with the fact that most girls would have spoken to a few guys before finding the right guy to marry.

It's too painful to acknowledge. The idea that the girl you're infatuated with and adore did the same things, either emotionally or physically, with someone else is too fucking painful.

I don't even blame them, most of us put women on pedestals and view them through rose-tinted glasses as if they never had a life before meeting us lol. It's a bitter pill to swallow but they'd much happier long-term.
