@Devilsadvocate It looks like railway is mentioned here too so it sounds like there are future plans for a railway system
Probably they will leave the space for it but highly unlikely, railways cost billions to build especially in a big country like somalia

I think that space will be reserved for highways tbh. We need big asphalt roads going to the city since warshiekh is quite far from xamar about 61km in between.
railways will happen in the far future hopefully. For now, I would love to see how this city planning will look like
