This is the best way to approach Somali information. Verify then trust with evidence. I watched another you-tube clip out of curiosity carrying the same news. The man who posted the second clip had an interesting prediction and analysis on the whole situation. He was asking the right questions:
- How is it possible that these women were married to her for at least two years and never recognized their husband as a female?
- Who fathered the kids?
He makes a prediction that this will turn out to be an agreement between the accused and the women allegedly she was married to. They could have been running together a house he thinks. He thinks there was a fall-out between them before this escalated into this weird story.
Anyways, the woman herself in the clip says she took in one woman with her kid because they needed to be taken care of. She also mentions how she used the pistol for protection in her clothing shop and not to rob people.
Something does not add up in the story and she is holding something back. Her alleged sex toy looks so out of this world that a human female can not accept that as a source of pleasure.

The police in the clip claim female officers who are part of the force examined her and determined she was a female. This means they checked her anatomy and saw she was a female.
It is an incomplete investigation and not everything is known obviously. Soomaalida waa dad war jecel and trade on information. This is more like a story getting out before the police sorted out what is the complete story.

There is truth to what you say here. But Somalis are stubborn as a mule and never change for the better where it matters the most.
We are also oral society and love to talk unlike other cultures who prefer privacy and less talk. I once saw a clip recorded in early 1900th century in Somalia by Europeans. It was in Baadiye setting and two Somalis were greeting each other. The greeting alone lasted into tenth minute.
