You need to accept that the Osmanya script is dead. We have used Arabic for centuries and most Somalis can read Arabic with harakat I would say the same for the Latin script, but probably a lot less. What would we gain by trying to teach these squiggly lines to people? We would gain nothing, only the niggas that feel inferior to Arabs and whites would get an ego boost.

it's stupid because you are trying to solve a problem that doesn't exist or isn't a high priority at all. I'd be against arabic as well. people like you seem to think little things like this will make somalis "proud", well i'll tell you what would make them proud. it'd be actually focusing on real world problems instead of stuff like this. Maybe once there is a working government, we can try to come up with another script, but now our resources/attention is better spent on other more pressing issues.
