Why do some scholars allow Muslim Men to marry Non-muslim women?

So are bahai, yazidis and every monotheisti people ahlul kitab? After all there are more monotheistic religions?

Good questions. Even though they didn't exist when the quran was revealed I guess you could argue that they have some special status as monotheistic religions.

Muslim men marrying these « Christians » women are not dominant in any way shape or form. They wouldn’t marry these haram trinitarians if they did.
The point is that a man will have more influence than the woman, but if a trinitarian woman can trick you into thinking they are ahlul kitab, then you are ultimate dayuus
