Why do Somalis have so many children?

Ignorance, my cousins back home nearly made takfir on me because I said condoms are halal as long as your wife is happy with not conceiving. They think sex should be just for impregnating and the pleasure is a secondary benefit

You want Muslims to be the majority? Be honest wth yourself...you are saying you want more of Somalia, more of Afghanistan, more of Syria?
Somalis can’t even look after 1 kid let alone 9. No wonder we have such high rates of delinquency. There are more kids than there are parents.
Muslims are going to fight all the kuffar soon from Atheists to Satanists and everything in between we need our numbers, ofc even if we are small in number it doesn't matter as Allah is the final decider

So they are going to beat Russian and American nukes. Somalia and most of these Muslim countries depend on the aide they receive from the West. But you think they can go to war with them and win.
Why do you believe stuff that’s so obviously not true? If this is why Somalis are breeding like rabbits then this is depressing.
Not when you can’t look after them. When you can’t look after your 7 children they grow into 7 delinquents and society doesn’t need that.

In what way? Bad parenting is always a bad thing but that's not just a Somali problem. Having loads of children is often a beautiful thing, your household becomes like a mini society with its own rules and rewards. I think raising children in a household with many other children moulds them in the best possible way, most of the time.
I didn’t say bad parenting is exclusive to Somalis. When you have a child you are responsible for preparing the child to be a good citizen. I have seen too often Somali women looking after their 7+ kids whilst the father drifts in and out. It’s incredibly difficult to look after kids, this includes feeding them, providing for them, looking out for their well-being, teaching them morales, disciplining them, giving them affection and educating them. How can a parent do this for 7 kids?!?
Of course they don’t do any of that. Instead they get the girls or their older siblings to look after the younger ones. This is wrong, a child can’t teach another child about life. And the child that’s doing the rearing shouldn’t have to! How incredibly selfish is that. Child development is a serious thing and the consequences are very scary if it goes badly.

It’s incredibly stressful so don’t have 7 kids...that’s my point!
If I find running marathons stressful...I wouldn’t sign up to run 7 marathons.

You're being way too dramatic sis, the story you've just related is purely anecdotal. There are tons of counter-narratives that I can tell you about but I wont do that because it carries no weight. As for the financial part of your post, Somalis are overwhelmingly Muslim. We believe that Allah will provide for us of His bounty.
Women have been caring for and raising multiple kids for the best part of history, you can't honestly believe that taking care of 7+ kids is too much to handle. Absent father figures do have nasty consequences, I definitely agree with you there but I think this whole 'Somali dads are failing us' rhetoric is unfair. There's a lot going on but having kids isn't the problem.
Giving birth to 7 kids can be done but raising 7 children into fully functioning healthy adults is incredibly hard if not impossible.
When you give women contraception you empower them. They can make a decision on how many children they have. When you give them this choice they often choose to have less children and to work instead.
Saying let’s just have kids and Allah will provide does not bring food to the table. It’s more like let’s just have kids and the government will provide. When you remove functioning governments out of the equation these people starve to death (look at Somalia). Encouraging this nonsense under the guise of religion is wreckless.
