Why do people cry when a celebrity dies?

Generally it’s sad when people die. I don’t usually watch sports but it’s still sad and a lot of people were his fans. Though, sometimes I think if we were to hear more stories about the people who died you feel a lot more pain when they die. Otherwise, they are just people among people.
