This is objectively untrue information, the city was founded by the Harla people a loooong time ago, then the Harla morphed into the Hararis we see today, Hararghe had a Somali presence basically since the Somalis came into being and it became Somali majority after the utter destruction the war with Xabash caused the Harari people to decline harshly.

The Oromos only arrived in the 16th century, and in doing so violently dispossessed the Somalis and Hararis. Add that to a century of really violent persecution of the Harari and Somali people in Hararghe and it can be explained why Harar is Oromo-Amhara while Hararghe is Oromo.

You may be mixing Harar with Dirdhaba, because with Dirdhaba the Oromos claim they created the city, they do not say this about Harar.

My people dont live in galbeed but they do live in oromia. So whatever goes on in oromia especially the baabile area im on top of it (my great grandmother also comes from there).
