I was just about to quote that statistics as well as real life anecdotes of black women not only avoiding white men, but also having less of a preference for even lighter skin black men.

I never believed this whole "black women are loyal" thing, most people are selfish and will try to get the best offer they can. If white men reciprocated attention given to them by BW, they would have jumped ship a long time ago. But unlike Asian women who they have a genuine attraction for, black women aren't afforded that privilege, hence the gatekeeping/mate guarding of BM.
