We Oromo's have many problems, true, but clan-ism and clan wars ain't one of them.
In fact, in our culture, a man must marry from outside of his clan/sub clan.

Somali qabiilism is overdone as a problem. It's just natural, man. Even without tribes Somalis would beef anyway due to regional differences and clashing interests caused by that. 200 years from now if Somalis and this world still exist I promise you that even if tribalism disappears they'll be beefing over stuff like "Sanaag Vs Bari". It's funny to think that even they aren't beyond their own form of qabiilism, though. I had a college professor who was from Bavaria and she couldn't stop dooding for Bavaria. She taught business stuff related to tourism and would show us cool tourism ads for Bavaria specifically and told us a lot of the top dog shit Germany is known for is from Bavaria like BMW and Oktoberfest. Think she even led us to believe Mercedes was from there when it's from the neighboring gobol, though I'm not sure on this last bit. But yeah, she bordered on secessionist and almost used our class as an FKD platform against her fellow Germans.

@Abba Sadacha what you miss is Somalia’s qabiil culture isn’t unique. It’s not what destroyed us. Our qabiil system was the foundation of many succesful states over thousands of years that expanded into present day Ethiopia. It’s democratic in it’s nature and developed it’s own successful law system.

If the clan system was so successful; it wouldn't result in you guys being divided and insulting each other along clan lines. You guys expanded into our lands and we expanded into yours; so no more free ogadenia/somali dds then right, since you're admitting might is right? Okay, cool.

clan systems never truly work in the end, but there are some benefits to it I suppose.
