Where are Somalis finding their spouse

This is a big problem, Im not the type of guy who likes to dm girls on insta, I want to do that in real life. Problem is that, you do not see the opposite gender often if you are not in the same environment. We need some events/places where young adults can meet. Weddings are one, but it only lasts couple hours max. We need something better.

You hardly see Somali girls out and about here in London, what’s going on? Feels like they’re in prison at home. This makes it hard for both genders to interact with each other.

Compare to back home, you see both genders interacting with each other in a normal way (halal)

I'm in my late 20s, got married late myself and have a friends who are in their late 20s and early 30s who've recently married or are getting to know/engaged, wallahi when I tell you they're all recently married/getting married to guys their own ages or 1/2 yrs younger.

I have a realistic insight as i'm a woman nearly of that age group with actual friends in that situation. You basically said you hardly see any Somali girls and from your comments I can tell you're young. Also, you'd be suprised with the amount of Somali guys willing to marry a girl who is like a yr older.

There are a lot of Somali guys who have never married in their 30s and they have no issues of marrying a girl their own ages. A family member literally married a doctor despite being 30 and so is he.

I don't think it matters that much, if you find someone that you like is in their 30s it shouldn't matter.
When a girl enters that age, she already knows what she wants in life, so it's easier to deal with.

Indeed, not everything is a debate. Since i'm of that age group late 20s, married late and have friends who are in their early 30s, I was merely informing you that despite your claims not one married an odey and all are of the same age group. Some did marry men the same age and divorced and some married ones who never married.

I disagree settling is a disaster waiting to happen. Also if you dislike your husband you wont feel enthusiastic about fulfilling your marital duties if you get what i mean.

I only made that comment because i believe there are more single somali men 30+ then there are somali women. I don’t think women and men should completely disregard people from back home. You don’t choose where you are born. Plus if your a lady there are many well educated men back home, don’t settle for a niin thats qaashin just because you feel like times running out. I’d rather be a cat lady then marry a criminal.
