A new capital requires billions of dollars to be built and millions of Somalis survive on one meal a day, lack proper health care, clean water to drink and most of the children can’t afford to be schooled. where will the funds come from and a big “IF” if it is donated money, how will we prioritise it? Save children and families or build a fancy capital for politicians because qabiils X and Y won’t accept the capital in the midst of qabiil T?
The civilians are the priority. We aint moving forward. Tge majority of people that lives in mugdisho is hawiye and they have leverage on the fg. It doesnt have to be a ompletely new city just a city where there is a mixture of people.

There's nothing wrong with Mogadishu per se, but there's something vehemently wrong with its people and their mindset. Changing the capital to for example Balcad or Jowhar won't change much because it's still the same people. The capital should be in a region of peace loving people
