I'm considering Ohio, Columbus or Atlanta, Georgia...hows the lifestyle over there and the opportunities I've been to both cities before but that was early 2000s when I was a kid, what about Minnesota, Seattle or San Diego etc...appreciate any info! Thanks

I will give you a serious reply. If you are going to come here the fastest way is to marry a Somali girl who is a US citizen. Go on facebook and find a girl from your clan who lives in Minnesota and make arrangments. Tell her the truth, do not lie. You should start saving as soon as you can. Minneapolis is probably the best place to live in the US for a Somali. good luck.

I know Minnesota is a Somali stronghold in the US, but what is the lifestyle like and business opporunities I know some of these midwest regions are not the most lively places...whats the city life like?
Depends on your mindset? all I know is probably living cost is cheaper than London + weather maybe better & I'm guessing you get more for your money i.e £350,000 might get you a nice house in ATL suburbs compared to a shit flat in London in a rubbish area get what I mean...
I hear Atlanta is a booming place atm, I watched a clip of Jordan Peele building a whole movie production studio there on a former military base complex...
My advice is to come visit again before making that transition, a lot has changed since the 2000s. Also how will you be living here? Work? Marriage? Because since Trump U.S has become the hardest place to get visa from.
Also Ohio is a shithole that has no opportunity unless you are student, it will be hard for you to adjust from going to big city to tuulo lol I like Atlanta but the Somali community is not a big there, MN gets its crap but you will find jobs and one of the best healthcare in the country. I would recommend Seattle as well, of all the places you listed it’s the biggest and easiest transition for you, we are thinking about moving there in couple years, visit first tho because it’s not for everyone.

Don't let some here fool you. America is not some paradise of wealth and opportunity. Wages are stagnant and prices for everything else continue to hurl upwards. Most Somalis work uber, trucking, and other blue collar work that will soon be automated. America is still a great place for knowledge workers though.

Move to atlanta and georgia area. Cheap houses that are nice and lots of black entrepeneurs. Ohio sucks and MN is shitty place to live. Lack of business/job opportunities and the weather is horrible. Not worth it.
