When i was in xamar in 2020 i was getting stared at for wearing a normal abaya with a normal jersey hijab imagine. I think its more common now but its not the norm.

Regardless i want my freedom of expression. As someone who wears the hijab, womens rights and freedom of expression must be implemented

To make it worse look at the women in saudi arabia. They literally have more freedom to wear what they want compared to women back home in Somalia make it make sense?? I want to know where this misinterpretation came from

Women should be able to wear what they want honestly. As long as its decent because rn its way too extreme. It should be a personal choice made between them and Allah

it's wild it sometimes has me speechless when thinking about it.

Somalis need an Absolute Cultural Reconstruction.

Take out the Harmful features that lead to stagnant erosion but keeps the good things and build around us as a people because abaayo I may get flake for saying this but I really do believe us as Somalis as an ethnicity we're less extreme and a lot more religious and follow the true objective Islam than a lot of groups like Arabs, South Asians and Persians.

Like even before young girls aged 6 or 9 could walk around normally in Somali Society even when they were Muslims was allowed and not a problem and everything is fine but only after Somalis came back from studying from Medina did they demand 5 year olds to wear full jilbabs when Somalis didn't feel the need to.

A lot of these things really are imported lol
