You won’t be missedThats the whole point i aint surviving there. Id move to an island tbh and live out the rest of my days there.
the fact that you have to say that shows how the country is plagued with insecurity

Agreed abaayo. When i was in xamar in 2020 i was getting stared at for wearing a normal abaya with a normal jersey hijab imagine. I think its more common now but its not the norm.
Regardless i want my freedom of expression. As someone who wears the hijab, womens rights and freedom of expression must be implemented
AbsolutelyAgreed abaayo.
It infuriates me how extreme they hold us and the rest of our sisters simply because they misinterpret the religion and worst part of all is that this extremity is exported.
It’s really not that bad literally nobody cares that much at least in Xamar. Im going Somalia in a month just watch.Plus wtf I am not wearing a Jilbab in +40°celsius weather what the hell??lemme guess btw all hell will break loose if I don’t wear a hijab but let a nigga bomb up a crowd, be a deadbeat dad or worse marry a child and watch that shit be memory holed so quick….

This is stupidI would say we create our own diaspora only country within Somalia and develop it similar to where we left.
If we do the jealous locals will try to infiltrate. They will stop at nothing to try to make us like them. We need our own military our own government our own everything
imported*Agreed abaayo.

it's wild it sometimes has me speechless when thinking about it.Absolutely
To make it worse look at the women in saudi arabia. They literally have more freedom to wear what they want compared to women back home in Somalia make it make sense?? I want to know where this misinterpretation came from
Women should be able to wear what they want honestly. As long as its decent because rn its way too extreme. It should be a personal choice made between them and Allah
