My mother is from Bosaso and my father is from Galkayo. My mother's family had a second house in Xamar so they lived there as well before she moved to Kenya for better education and later to America. I think the Xamar house got burnt down after the war which was sad, so now they live in their Bosaso home and their countryside home. My Aabo's family lives in Dubai now cause they have a business there so only my mother's family now resides in Bosaso. Somalia.

I got this wrong haha, I just talked to my mom so let me fix it. The house in Xamar is actually still there, my grandfather when they were leaving back to Bosaso in the war gave it to a family from a different clan because they were innocent and had children they needed to shelter and raise. He is getting ajar to this day even though he passed away a long time ago.
