What nationality have you been mistaken for?

Somali. I love it to be honest, I can walk into any Somali area and be shown love. One time during Ramadan, I was running late for iftar, so this one Somali elder invited me into his house to break fast with him.

I told him I was Sudanese, and then he started talking to me in Sudani Arabic

Back home they just think I'm a local till they ask me what's with my surname. Since being in the UK noone has outright said it but they are generally surprised I am somali I have no idea what image they have of somali's but it isn't me.

yemenis are really uncommon but there is a LOT of ethiopians
