logically that dosent make sense, if every clan is working towards bettering there clan the end result will be a better country as a bi product, as for extremism yeah that speaks for itself however there are cases of salafism working in countries like Saudi Arabia, so no it won't necessarily bring the downfall of a nation
"It wouldn't be bad if Somalis didn't obsess over it to the point of sacrificing their country." why? not everyone values county>ethnic group and it isn't a clear cut one better than the other thing, its more subjective as we see through the world ethnic conflicts happen it isn't qabil thats the problem but many times the country in this case and how it was setup as seen in many places like say the balkans or what the Kurds are currently facing, originally somalia was setup in a democratic way where qabil wouldn't be much of a factor anyways but dictatorship and centralization as shown in our history justifies the aftermath, your looking at the destruction afterwards and not the system causing it
