Whilst i listen to this guy as background noise while im doing chores his stuff is rife with inaccuracies
i would definetly not mind this as it would make us all wealthy and powerful if done right. Also if somalis and other ethnicities were considered equals. Sadly this will only be a semitic imperial project if it happened.

Ethiopia could've actually worked but the Xabashi are stupid and racially segregated Oromo and other lowlanders.
Good for us since the Xabashi could've assimilate anyone as most would rather die. Somalis actually have a chance and making a strong and large state in the horn. At least half of it is ours and further for the taking.

If we picked the Ajuuran empire during the 1500-1700s we'd have Somalis colonising further south into east Africa. Taking Madagascar and colonising Australia as Ajuuran would've most likely discovered it.
A Somali colonial empire in the indian ocean. In the hieght of European colonialism we would've been equal possibly.
If we talk about Adal during the futuh. If Ahmad Gurey wasn't killed in battle he would've taken the horn and made a Cushtic version of the ottomans. Ajuran empire would eventually collapse in the 1700s and instead of turning into small petty kingdoms until colonialism, the Adalites would swoop in and take Koonfurta Uniting the entire horn under a single Islamic Empire. Expansions into Sudan, possibly yemen to take Aden.
But the most lasting would be Adalite expansion into interior Africa. It would literally be moving into near empty land with disparate Bantu tribesmen with nothing but iron age spears. Compared to Cushitic empire with Guns and canons in the 1500s. It would actually be so over for Bantus bisinka.

Where are somalis in this equation. Somalis wouldve tried to stop this attack. If the phrophacy doesnt mention us it can be assumed we were wiped out or assimilated or even too weak to stop them.
