@Apollo Since you say Cushites are from North Sudan. Is there an overlap between Cushites, Nubians and Copts/Egyptians?

Also who do you think the mysterious Kerma culture and C-group Cultures were? Ancient Cushites?

I think some major changes happened to the region since the Cushitic ethnogensis of around 8,000-5,000 years ago.

Nilotic proper groups from Central Sudan pushed northwards explaining how Nubians now speak Nilo-Saharan and not Cushitic. Also, populations from the Levant-Mesopatamia area with increased Iran Neolithic affinity changed the Ancient Egyptians-Copts since the time of the proto-Cushites.

So Egyptians were Afro-Asiatics with increased levantine ancestry, Nubians were Afro-Asiatics that were replaced/intermixed with Nilotes. And Cushites intermixed with Nilotes etc as they moved further south into the HOA.
