I grew out my hair the entirety of 2020. I also did the same in 2017 and 2011.
Apart from those years, I mostly get a high top or cut it short as shown in that old post.

I have never met someone without at least one thing that wasn't worthy of praise. Even asymmetries can be intriguing.
