They are a mixture between:
Ancestral North Africans: basically the first and longest inhabitants of North Africa.
Early Neolithic Levantines: first farmers who migrated westwards into North Africa.
Late Neolithic Iberians of Anatolian origin (not European).
So: North Africa, the Levant, and Ancient pre-Turkic Anatolia.
Could you do a similar break down of Somali ancestry?
Same first two components, not the last component, but then plus Nilo-Saharan & Paleolithic Somali.
Interesting, so what is Palaeolithic Somali? Isn't Somali just an ethnic group?
The people who lived in Somalia before the Cushites arrived there basically. The Nilo-Saharan autosomal affinity in Somalis is not from Somalia either, but from Sudan and was brought there with the Cushites. I think the Cushitic language family originated in North Sudan. This Paleo-Somali component is no more than 10-12% in Somalis and largely restricted to maternal geneflow (some rare L mtDNAs) that aren't found outside of the Horn region.
its an ancestry unique only to somalis akhiInteresting. So are these "Palaeolithic Somalis" the small hunter-gatherer tribes that ancient Cushites ended up replacing in the Horn?
Is this genetic marker present in other Horners?
Hint:theyre Phoenician
Once again you look foolish, spouting about unsourced. SHOW YOUR SOURCES!Berber ethnogensis predates written history.
Also, not everything written in a book is true. Like you have Darods claiming to be Yemeni when they are just locals.
