There's no union of southerners broski. There are qabiils trying to make the best of the broken glasses left behind by the civil war. We're trying to agree on a system that fits all qabiils and no single qabiil having more power than the other. Every qabiil ruling their land and the FG managing foreign affairs, defense and monetary policy. Even the military in our regions are from the region so as to prevent a repeat of the dictators rule.

Even the thread about dropping qabil becomes a endless back and forth of qabil rhetoric. Somalis have done inhumane damage to each other. Mistrust is so rampant that some have turned to Ethiopia and Kenya.
Sad state of affairs. I can not blame them. A person beaten down will find it hard to trust. Building bridges will take till our great grandchildren generation, I know we won't be here to see it. However we can at least plant some seeds.
