I never used the apple cider vinegar. I used the white vinegar for cooking. When I have a heart burn from eating raisins or whatever, I pour like a drop of white vinegar on the bottle cover and I take a sip of it. 1min later the heartburn goes away. I just drink water after a few minutes.
