What do Puntites think of Farole Senior legacy. We r all quick to point to his nepotism and fetish with his son, a high number of assassination of important human capital to PL, and his election fiasco. I think besides those ills, his positive outweigh it.

His the one who put to policy and executed the great dual track foreign policy for PL and SL and Somalia.

This allowed PL to attend international summits without violating any international rules and develop its regional profile as a positive force if it did choose to become a nation state

Farole Senior also kick started the reversal of 150 year PL policy of looking to Mogadishu for solutions, he switched all that and created PL first policy.

He also is the one who developed our govt dept, and institutions, and alot of our development goal.

Prior to him their was hardly any development to.mention. He gave Somalia its constitution and also codified the 1998 founding charter for PL constitution. He was definitely a heavyweight leader.

Good on foreign policy during his tenure. Internal clan relations were abysmal in those days though and I remember the chaos of those days, Deni has been an improvement on that.

Nah bro I didn't mean his character or qualities( clannist, bad personality, selfish, dictator) I meant more on delivering some big generational changing projects in PL developmental, governance, security or political stability goals(Hamar). I've had bad bosses bro but they do their job and keep my work safe in the process. We are 25 year old government now, 6 presidency terms, a whole generation was born under it and 25, ww need to ensure we r leaving something la dhaxlo behind.
