What a totally incompetent situation for the Russian Federation, this is all because of the maltreatment of Prigozhin & Wagner in Ukraine by the defense ministry. I don’t think Putin was in the plane, but I love the badass attitude from Tokayev. Very fearless ever since the beginning of the war, when he condemned Putin right in front of him kkk. Given they’re Turkic they can get away with defence deals with Turkey more than others without Russia retaliating.

Not really due to maltreatment alone. This this is bound to happen when you create powerful non-state armed entities. Once they raise ranks, it’s inevitable that they will execute their own power aspirations.
Russia and Wagner is essentially no different in theory from the current fighting between Sudan and RSF. It follows the same pattern, even if the reasoning of conflict may differ.
