They actually did report on the progress of past projects. Read the full report in the OP.

The report doesn't hide anything at all. There's sobering info about the state of the economy in there.

Fishing and mining needs to be way higher. So much wasted potential. :bell:

Also interesting is that the share of GDP for automotive repair plays almost as big of a part of the economy as livestock. :ohhh:

Fishing and mining are capital intensive. You need major infrastructure and machinery for both sectors. Somaliland doesn't have the equipment r expertise for heavy industrial mining. We also lack trawlers and refridgeration systems for fishing. One major import plan needs to be the raising of funds to develop these important sectors.

There really is no reason for small ports everywhere.
I heard bixi is going to maydh.
There is no population for such an investment.
Ceeri needs that money invested in it

Actually there is, Berbera can't be our only port. This would be a smaller port for fishing and transport. It would save allot of time going by road to the east.

We need a second hub in the east

Transport there is no need. Fishing they need refrigerated vehicles. Or a storage facility that has freezers. They use coolers to bring fish from maydh. Sanaag uses Bosaso more than Berbera. Maydh needs a nice road before a port. All of Cal madow mtns are hard to reach. Kwrn

We shouldn't be depending on whether country for our port needs.

Infrastructure in Sanaag is lacking and must be fully integrated.

ADDIS ABABA – The Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE) in collaboration with Ethiopian Airlines launched a platinum co-branded card payment.

The bank was able to facilitate the sale of Ethiopian e-tickets worth nearly 260 million Birr within ten months through its digital payment channels in 2019. During the last fiscal year nearly 67,480 e-tickets were sold bringing into play CBE’s digital payment channel, for the most part making use of the bank apps and online bookings. Aside from flying 125 destinations worldwide, the digital payment solution allows customers to put the CBE digital payment into effect.

According to Tewolde Gebremariam, the Ethiopian Airlines CEO, Currently, the Airlines has stretched its wings to 125 worldwide and 22 domestic destinations respectively. Among them, sixty of the destinations are found in most of Africa.”

He continued, “As customers focused airlines, we have invested heavily on digitalizing our systems and operating to meet the evolving expectation of customers. The digital payment service of CBE has availed us the opportunity to greatly make more efficient our payment systems and help our customers process their flight at ease, efficient and effective manner.”

He kept on saying, “Over the past ten months, the airlines managed to secure more than 300 million Birr via cards and the remaining forty percent via digital technologies. President and CEO of CBE, Bacha Gina said, “Every so often, the various mechanisms of e-payments have been making the lives of the general public trouble-free. I would say, we are the first in familiarizing the general public with technology-based banking services.

“All over the country, the bank has more than one thousand and five hundred and sixteen branches and two branches in South Sudan and Djibouti. The bank has a plan to open other branches in Somaliland and Saudi Arabia shortly,” he wrapped up.
