It is not for us to comment on them, we accept and thank them for their support, all of these countries mentioned have ties to Israel one way or another, so it’s really of no concern to us. I think PL spokesman Mr Dirir is being very professional about this. We don’t care what CBB or MBB monkeys have to say on this matter.

The most terrifying thing about many somali men is that their politics is mostly driven by spite.
I agree, many wannabe activists and politicians seek to sabotage and cause strife within PL, but they will be frustrated at every turn! for reer PL are descendants of heroes and men of renown.
Walaal I am reer PL. I am the descendant of refugees, whatever our ancestors were is irrelevant and has no bearing on my life.
Many criticize PL for it’s relationship with the UAE, some do it because they dont want PL to have allies, others do it because they genuinely fear UAE and its destabilization plans. Perhaps you can not tell them apart.
I see, you would have PL refuse help and support from regional governments and have a terror threat explode from its its northern regions, potentially killing hundreds or thousands of innocent civilians in the process, causing internal strife and conflict, all to make a performative stand with another foreign country with which you share no ties with and has not supported or aided you in the past…

That’s exactly what I said. This CBB user is probably one of the newly hired guys from eastern Sool and is doing exactly what his boss( HSM) has told them to do. Did you know that Qatar was behind the killing of the Maltese port manager in Bosaso back in 2019?

The idea that the uae could ever be a useful ally is laughable. Those dudes basically have no moral compass since everything is controlled by one family there is no such thing as internal debates on uae foreign policy. Even countries like Saudi Arabia have a limit to what they can do since they have to take into account public opinion but the uae basically has a stranglehold on its pouplation.

This is what happens when the central government is weak and at odds with multiple federal states. Each federal state has different external powers involved, like the UAE, Qatar, Ethiopia, Kenya, etc. I struggle to see a Somalia free from foreign influence.
Their military support and aid is welcome, that is the position of PL. no one said anything about “benefiting” and no one’s under any pretence of brotherhood unlike the FGS and the Turks.
You have no idea or understanding of the internal workings of Puntland. And it’s fine to admit such, for you are neither a native of it nor do you have any connections to it.

My family lives in puntland. I've been to both harigesia and bosasso for summer vacation .
This is simply a realization I came to when I realized how little we here about deals with foreign govts in Somaliland and puntland. I made the simple conclusion that if most of the power in these regions is in the hands of a single clan then its pretty easy to censor the media since who's gonna go against their qabil if their qabil tell them to shut up.
