It is apparently Christian holiday and we happen to be Muslims, so what is there to celebrate exactly?
Besides the Islamic law is pretty clear cut. No gray areas in this matter.
If you celebrate, you are agreeing to the notion that Issa bin Maryan AS was born on December 25th. You are also agreeing that he was begotten son of God, spirit of God and God in flesh (Subhaballah: Ilaahay baa Ceeb dhamaanteed ka Nasahan)which are all forms of shirk and per Islamic ruling shirk is the highest offense possible and anyone who indulges in it will be outside of the fold of Islam basically you will be considered Gaalo(Kaafir as in non Muslim)

I celebrated Eid and had a feast with Muslims and this Christmas, I had a massive & memorable Christmas lunch with my best mate’s family who died in a car crash 4 years ago. Brought every picture & video clip I had of him since primary school/high school/uni and overseas pack packing travels we did together and they thoroughly enjoyed it. Best Christmas I ever had. Muslims and in particular Somalis expect others to attend their festivities and insult the festivities of others. They admired and raved about when Obama hosted them during Ramadan aftur in the White House, but can’t accept his Christmas celebrations with his family and friends. They are overflowing with hypocrisy & Hatred
