There were a couple of good hearted Somali brothers who put this forward to the UK govt and they took it in to consideration. Esp after covid there were 0 statistics on Somalis, and yet we were one of the hardest hit community.

Its the truth though, Somalis don’t care about this virus. They weren’t in lockdown still visiting each other with 15+ people in one house, even in Kenya Eastleigh is the covid hub in Nairobi. Somalis tend to ignore rules/instructions.

On top of that Somalis already get targeted all over Europe because of islamphobia. So publishing our statistics wouldn’t change much regarding hate.

listen, i am not here to fix anything, i am advising on nacas uk somalis to not entertain this. i will be over in toronto by the time this starts negatively affecting them, the only reason i care now is im a student in the UK as of now.
