The name change to "Palestine" made by the Romans was very humiliating to the native Jews. The Romans wanted to honour their Greek "Phillistine" brothers when they conquered the Jews.

There are 2 types of Arabs. Ethnic Arabs and cultural/Arabized Arabs. The Arabian peninsula, parts of Syria and Iraq are Ethnic or the original Arabs. The rest are either mixed or Arabized.

The current Palestinians are just Arabs mixed with all types of people who lived there. Basically Arabs mixed with all types of people.
