I disagree. Unfortunately we have regressed a lot just in the last 5 years. How we were described in the past is shocking to me. I can’t even picture honourable men that look down on white people when all they do is seek approval and validation from them today

That's probably skewed statistically by rural cadaans. Living among the urban ones now and I don't get that sense, wallahi. You'd be surprised how many of them marry out.

Even did a little Data Analytics foray of my own with my dating app matches and likes in a major city like Boston and statistically found that I was matching with them and East Asians pretty much exactly in proportion with the general population meaning they had zero actual bias toward me as a "black" dude.

The only skews I noticed in my matches (200+ matches sampled) was that Black, Desi and MENA women matched with me or liked me more than you might expect compared to their pop portion numbers which makes perfect sense given my ethnicity.

From what little glimpses I got of other cities and even some rural parts like South Carolina when I went there for a vacation; the pattern seems to likely hold.

Social media is a loud minority. For every 1 self hater/beg that you see, theres 1000 more somalis who are proud of themselves and dont have an inferiority complex to anyone

Tanzanians & Kenyans ON AVERAGE look more like y'all than they'll ever look like us.

Dark skin, bushy eyebrows & a muscular frame is the tell tell west African look for me.

I’d like to believe that and if that is the case then the loud minority are what represents us because nobody thinks this of Somalis anymore.
